Meet Shadow and Midnight.  They are the beautiful and sweet girls of Sara Gingerich 'Dog Trainer Extraordinaire'.  The entire photo shoot was on the modern white background.  I love shooting on white because it's clean, modern but timeless and allows the subjects to shine but I wanted to see if I could get a different look from the same image.  In my mind I thought of something Low Key (Dark) and with a vintage style. So I took the background from white to black, increased highlights in the fur, and added an old photo plate border with a texture, to give it the extra aged look.

I love the final artistic creation.  More than that I love being able to create two different styles from the same shoot to give the client more options without scheduling two sessions or set changes.  What do you think of the images?  To view more of our Dog and Pet Portraits
